DO NOT use worn or damaged cables, plugs or connectors. Immediately have any faulty item replaced by a qualifi ed electrician.

BATTERY SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Battery contains Lithium-ion which is dangerous. Handle with care to avoid damage, fi re, corrosion or personal injury.
Charge battery prior to its fi rst use. The battery will have been shipped in a low charge state. To reduce the risk of burns or fi re:
DO NOT Attempt to open, disassemble, modify or service the battery pack.
DO NOT Crush, puncture, short external contacts or dispose of in fi re or water.
DO NOT Expose to temperatures above 40°C (104°F).
Replace only with the battery pack designated for this product.
Use only the charging base provided to charge the nut riveter.
DO NOT attempt recharging the battery by means of an engine generator or a DC power source.
WARNING! Dispose of spent batteries correctly as they contain Lithium-ion. DANGER! DO NOT attempt to disassemble the
battery. For safety and environmental reasons DO NOT discard in domestic waste or by burning. ONLY discard or recycle
according to local authority regulations.
WARNING! DO NOT allow a leaking battery to contact your person.

GENERAL SAFETY
WARNING! Ensure that Health & Safety, local authority and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to when using this
equipment.
Familiarise yourself with the applications, limitations and potential hazards peculiar to the nut riveter.
WARNING! Disconnect the nut riveter from the battery before changing accessories, servicing or performing any maintenance.
Maintain the nut riveter in good condition (use an authorised service agent).
Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
Keep the work area clean, uncluttered and ensure that there is adequate lighting.
Keep the nut riveter clean for best and safest performance.
WARNING! Always wear approved eye or face protection when operating the nut riveter.
Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the fl oor is not slippery and wear non-slip shoes.
Remove ill fi tting clothing. Remove ties, watches, rings and other loose jewellery and contain, and/or tie back, long hair.
Keep the nut riveter away from your body and at a safe distance from others.
Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the work area.
Secure unstable workpiece with a clamp, vice or other adequate holding device.
DO NOT use the nut riveter for any purpose other than that for which it is designed.
DO NOT operate the nut riveter if any parts are damaged or missing.
DO NOT get the nut riveter wet or use in damp or wet locations or areas where there is condensation.
DO NOT allow untrained persons to operate the nut riveter.
DO NOT operate nut the riveter when you are tired or under the infl uence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
2. INTRODUCTION
Suitable for aluminium rivet nuts. Powered by a 20V 2Ah lithium-ion battery and brushless motor with a pulling force of up to 4000N, capable
of pulling up to 80 rivets on one full charge. Three selectable power settings to help preserve the battery by only supplying the force required.
Quick release mechanism which allows for speedy mandrel changes. Led battery light indicator. Supplied with seven sets of threaded mandrels
from M3 to M12 and fast charge mains charger. Supplied in storage case.

4. OPERATION
IMPORTANT WARRANTY INFORMATION: the battery pack fitted to this cordless tool are considered to be a consumable item and its ability to
accept charge will reduce over time. We will provide warranty against mechanical and electrical defect for a period of one year - this does not
cover fair wear and tear. If the battery is not properly charged before first use, or regularly conditioned, its capacity will diminish. Under these
circumstances we will not replace the battery pack even if it is less than one year old.
4.1.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
4.1.1.
Plug the battery charger (fi g 1 - 3) into the mains and the charging light will light up green (fi g 1 - 2).
4.1.2.
Insert the battery cartridge (fi g 1 - 1) into the battery charger (fi g 1 - 3) and the charging light (fi g 1- 2) will fl ash green.
4.1.3.
When the battery cartridge is fully charged the charging light will turn solid green.
4.1.4.
Switch off the battery charger at the mains supply and remove the battery cartridge.
