Euclidean Circles v2 by vpme.de
Assembly:
11. Remove nuts and washers from encoders and press them into location on the back PCB, on the side without components.
12. Put the plastic washers onto the encoder bushings.
13. Place the 8 Thonkiconn jacks onto the back PCB.
14. Place the LED push button switch,
15. Put the 2x4 pin female header JP2 onto the 2x4 pin male SMT header JP1 (marked as JP2 on the front panel PCB) and place it
on the back PCB.
16. Carefully lower the front panel PCB onto the jacks and encoders.
17. Using a rubber band or a little clamp, hold the two PCBs together.
18. Put nuts onto the jacks, tighten them only lightly to prevent the jacks from rotating.
19. Align the two PCBs so that front panel and back PCB are parallel and the back PCB does not stick out left or right behind the
front panel PCB.
20. Solder the jacks to the back
21. Solder JP2 to the back PCB.
22. Solder the outer 4 pins of JP1 to the front panel PCB.
23. Remove the rubber band and washers and carefully lift the front panel PCB away so that you can solder the inner 4 pins of
JP1 to the front panel PCB.
24. Join the two PCBs back together and put the washers and nuts onto the jacks.
25. Pull the encoders up towards the front panel and add the washers and nuts, tighten lightly, make sure you have the plastic
washers installed on the encoders!
26. Solder the three encoders to the back PCB.
27. Tighten the nuts on the jacks and encoders. The encoder washers are slightly cupped so you need to tighten the nut to
flatten them.
28. Push on the encoder knobs carefully.
29. Connect a 16 pin Eurorack power cable, making sure the red stripe is towards the bottom of the module. Due to the high
LED current this module only runs from the 5V power supply rail!
Done! Enjoy!

CHECK THE CORRECT ORIENTATION
PCB, do not solder the encoders yet!
– BOM and build guide, v2.0
as its bloody hard to get out once soldered!
