    VVDI – MB TOOL User Manual 5. EIS Tools EIS data is the data when the key is loaded. VVDI MB TOOL support two modes to read EIS data: read by OBD and IR adaptor This picture is read from W246 EIS 5.1.

    VVDI – MB TOOL User Manual 5.2. Functions Mode: Support OBD and IR adaptor read EIS. You need to connect OBD line to the car in OBD mode or the EIS, IR mode only need IR adaptor. In addition, support no gateway mode to read W164, W209 and W211 EIS via OBD (need an extra adaptor which need to be purchased separately).
