How to turn hot water temp up
To increase the hot water temperature on a Burnham Alliance SL AL119SL:
1. Locate the immersion thermostat that controls the heat input to the tank.
2. Adjust the thermostat setting to a higher temperature. The factory setting is 120°F.
3. Do not set the temperature above 125°F without caution, as higher temperatures can cause scalding injuries.
4. After adjustment, periodically test the water temperature at a faucet to ensure the thermostat is working properly.
5. Always check the temperature before bathing or showering, especially for children, elderly, or disabled individuals.
Note: Never exceed 200°F on the boiler’s high limit control.
