Download and Unpack the EFX-LEII Editor
▪ Download and unpack the Zip file.

Note
ꞏ The EFX-LEII Editor is a standalone software. No installation is required.
ꞏ To use the EFX-LEII Editor, the EFX-LEII firmware must be V2.00 or higher.
If the EFX-LEII firmware is lower than V2.00, you need to update to the latest firmware.
MIDI Interface
▪ Connect your computer and MIDI interface.
▪ Connect the MIDI interface's MIDI IN to the EFX-LEII's MIDI OUT/THRU and the MIDI interface's MIDI OUT to the EFX-LEII's
MIDI IN.
Note
ꞏ Make sure to install the latest drivers for your MIDI interface before attempting to start the EFX-LEII Editor.
ꞏ Our recommended MIDI interface is the Roland UM-ONE.
This MIDI interface is inexpensive and has been tested to be compatible with the EFX-LEII.
Screen Description
1. MAIN MENU – Select a main menu. These buttons are activated only when there is data within the editor.
2. SEARCH – Scan the MIDI interface that is connected to your PC or MAC.
3. CONNECT – Connect to the EFX-LEII.
4. MIDI IN/OUT DEVICE – Select the your MIDI interface's MIDI IN & OUT
5. MIDI SPEED – Control the speed of the MIDI signal that send and receive data with the EFX-LEII.
6. NEW – Start a new edit with default setting without connecting to the EFX-LEII.
7. OPEN – Open an existing file.
8. LOAD – Load all data from the EFX-LEII. This button is activated after connecting to the EFX-LEII.
9. SAVE – Save the current edit to a file.
10. DUMP – Dump the data in the selected area to the EFX-LEII.
11. DUMP AREA – Select the data area to dump to the EFX-LEII.
12. DETAILS – Show the firmware update process.
13. FIRMWARE – Open a firmware file.
14. UPDATE – Start the firmware update.
