How to Remove Meat and Food Grinder Power Hub Accessory
1. Before removing Accessory, make sure Stand Mixer is unplugged
and Stand Mixer Speed Control Dial is set to OFF ( ).

Grinding Tips

• Cut meat into 1-inch (2.54 cm) thick strips. Place strips in freezer until very cold or use meat directly from refrigerator for easier grinding.
• Meat will extrude in long ribbons. If meat ribbons start to break during grinding, reduce grinding speed.
• Tough cuts of meat can be ground twice to tenderize. Do not process fatty cuts of meat twice.
• Natural casings need to be soaked in water to reduce salt before stuffing. Follow casing manufacturer's instructions.
• Do not grind bones or other hard items.

Care and Cleaning

1. Use a soft bristle brush to clean inside of Food Grinder Housing,
Plates, and Grinding Auger.
2. Wash Grinder parts in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry. Do not
use bread crumbs to clean out Grinder.

Cut Hazard. The grinding blade and plate can be sharp. Handle with care.
2. Turn Power Hub Knob counterclockwise to loosen. Pull
Accessory straight out. Disassemble to clean.
3. Lower Power Hub Cover and turn Power Hub Knob clockwise to
tighten.
3. Food Pusher with Lid, Stuffing Tube, Kibbeh Flange, Sausage
Extruder, and Kibbeh Extruder are dishwasher-safe in top rack
only.
4. Wipe Stand Mixer with a clean, damp cloth.
