third order 18 dB per octave crossover
Rigidly constructed enclosure provides
optimum venting for bass driver
Specialy engineered baffle to eliminate
interference due to re-radiated high frequency
energy.
The MS-200 is a precision refinement ot the
classic three way studio monitor. It incorp
orates specially developed damping
techniques that enable lower distortion
than previous designs. Additionally the
applications of third order crossover filters
and space age-thermal driver design- enable
higher long-term power handling than
currently available studio monitors. These
improvements enable the MS-200 to handle
the high output requirements of modern
studio control room applications with un
surpassed accuracy and definition. The
unique combination of high efficiency 150
watts RMS input power handing capacity,
accurate amplitude and low distortion
eliminates the previous conflict between
clarity and loudness.
ENCLOSURE
The enclosure is made of structured
material with internal bracing and acoustic
damping material resulting in a resonance
free cabinet. The front baffle is engineered
to prevent re-rated high frequency in
formation from forming interference signals
enabling much smoother response than
competitive systems. To accomplish this all
drivers are routed into the baffle for a flush fit
and specially developed foam is applied to.
all exposed baffle surfaces; even the grill
frame is designed to prevent high frequency
information from being reflected onto the
baffle.
