Procedure – Removal (SSD) Remove SSD door – Use SIM eject tool. 2. Remove SSD 3IP Screw – Use a 3IP (Torx-Plus) driver to remove the screw securing the SSD. 3. Remove SSD – The SSD should lift upwards to ~15 degree tilt after screw is removed. Carefully grab sides of SSD case and pull out of main board socket at same ~15 degree angle.
Procedure – Installation (SSD) IMPORTANT: Only a Microsoft SSD of like capacity should be replaced in the device. Replacing the SSD with a different volume may result in reduced system performance. Insert SSD – Insert the connector end of the SSD into the SSD connector on Main board at ~15 degree angle.
