FUEL
Ensure you use the correct fuel
type. Only use unleaded petrol
in petrol vehicles (see inside of
filler flap).

Vehicle specifications are subject to change. When the engine is turned off, ensure that the starter switch is in position II when operating electrical items such
as door mirrors and windows, etc. This vehicle does not include any manufacturer handbooks or manuals.
USEFUL INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE
Locking the doors?
Models are fitted with key / remote control operated central locking. Depress the door locking switch integrated into door
lever. Doors also auto lock when vehicle is in motion.
Passive arming of electronic engine immobiliser and alarm. Visible VIN plate.
Anti-theft system?
Opening the boot?
Models are centrally locked. Use the key or remote control to unlock / open.
Internal electic adjustment via control pad on bottom right of dashboard.
Adjusting door mirrors?
Electric front operated via control switches on the driver's door. Hinged rear windows..
Opening the windows?
Operating the sunroof?
If fitted - retractable electric roof operated by roof mounted switchgear.
Using child door locks?
Located on the edge of the rear doors, twist the button to activate it. Check from inside that the doors are securely locked.
Ensure gear selector is in neutral and handbrake is on. Place ignition key in starter switch. Use a normal starting routine.
Starting the engine?
(For keyless models, keep the key in your pocket or handbag, depress clutch and press engine start/stop button to start the
engine). Select desired gear. Release handbrake and brake pedal and gently press the accelerator to move the vehicle.
Opening fuel filler cap?
Centrally locked. Located on rear nearside. Lightly press the rear edge of fuel flap to open it. Twist off the cap anticlockwise.
Releasing the bonnet?
Pull bonnet release lever located to the lower right of the instrument panel. Unhook catch under bonnet.
The rear seat is divided into 50:50 sections which can be flat folded separately. To release the seat press the seat unlocking
Folding the rear seats?
catch and fold the seat down. To return the seat to normal use, raise the seat and push it firmly to engage the seat lock.
Check it is locked before using the seat.
How to change a tyre?
Lift the recess cover inside the boot to access the spare tyre (temporary spare). The tools and jack are with the wheel. Move
the vehicle to firm / level ground. Turn the engine off, select first gear (manual) or P (automatic). Apply the handbrake or
parking brake. Loosen the wheel nuts (do not remove them). Only use the specific reinforced jack points on the underside
of the vehicle. Crank the jack to lift the vehicle. Undo wheel nuts and change the wheel. Lower the vehicle. Tighten the wheel
nuts. For any assistance in the event of having a punctured tyre, or should the vehicle not be supplied with a spare
wheel and tyre or a tyre repair kit, please call the Europcar Tyre Helpline 0800 0280 999.
To change gears press the foot operated brake pedal and move the lever forwards or backwards through the gate.
How to drive an
automatic?
Select N for neutral, R for reversing (the vehicle must be at a complete standstill before this gear can be selected). For
normal driving select E where the transmission will use all available forward gears automatically (a 'kickdown ' facility is
provided when the accelerator is pressed all the way to the floor past the normal acceleration point forcing the transmission
to select a lower gear to obtain maximum acceleration. Release pressure on the accelerator to return to normal accelerator
use). Use M+ or M- to manually select gears only. Whenever the vehicle is at a standstill fully apply the handbrake.

CHILD SEATS
Never use a child seat in a front
passenger seat which is fitted with
an active airbag (SRS). Follow all
fitting instructions carefully.
Check seat positioning and security
before use.

Check tyre pressure regularly
Legal minimum tread depth is 1.6 mm

Check the tyre pressure table found on
the inside of driver's door B-pillar (or fuel
filler cap).
Vehicle is fitted with tyre pressure sensors.
Vehicle supplied with either a temporary
spare wheel or a tyre repair kit.
