FUEL
Ensure you use the correct fuel
type. Only use unleaded petrol
in petrol vehicles (see inside of

USEFUL INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE
Locking the doors?
Key / remote control operated central high security deadlocking. Depress the centre console central locking switch to lock
the doors from the inside. Auto door re-locking on moving off.
Anti-theft system?
Passive arming of electronic transponder engine immobiliser and alarm. Visible VIN plate.
Opening the boot?
Centrally locked. Use the key or remote control to unlock / open. Tailgate features a separately opening top-hinged window.
Some models feature remote hands-free opening via foot gesture activation of sensors under the flanks of the rear bumper.
Load floor is also supplied with fixing rings to help secure loads.
Adjusting door mirrors?
Opening the windows?
Electric front and rear, operated via control buttons on the driver's door.
Operating the sunroof?
Using child door locks?
Use the centre console central locking switch / electric child lock to activate. Check from inside that the doors are locked.
Vehicle features twin rear sliding doors.
Starting the engine?
Ensure gear selector is in neutral and parking brake is on. Place ignition key in starter switch. Or for keyless starting keep
the key in your pocket or bag, and press the engine start/stop button adjacent to the gear lever to start or stop the engine.
Select desired gear. Release parking brake and brake pedal and gently press the accelerator to move the vehicle. Vehicles
feature auto start/stop technology whereby the engine turns off when vehicle is stationary, gears are in neutral and foot
pedals are not depressed - to instantly restart either depress the brake (auto models) or depress the clutch (manual).
Opening fuel filler cap?
anticlockwise. Press the flap closed.
Releasing the bonnet?
Pull bonnet release lever located to the lower right of the instrument panel. Unhook catch under bonnet.
Folding the rear seats?
To release the seat press the seat unlocking catch and fold the seat down. To return the seat to normal use, raise the seat
and push it firmly to engage the seat lock. Check it is locked before using the seat.
How to change a tyre?
punctured tyre, or should the vehicle not be supplied with a spare wheel and tyre or a tyre repair kit, please call the
Europcar Tyre Helpline 0800 0280 999.
How to drive an
Use the centre console rotary dial selector to select gears. Select N for neutral, P when leaving the vehicle, R for reversing
automatic?
(the vehicle must be at a complete standstill before this gear can be selected). For normal driving select D where the
transmission will use all available forward gears automatically (a 'kickdown ' facility is provided when the accelerator is
pressed all the way to the floor past the normal acceleration point forcing the transmission to select a lower gear to obtain
maximum acceleration. Release pressure on the accelerator to return to normal accelerator use). To manually override
normal D usage, press the M button, and use paddle shift levers to select higher or lower gears (use low gears for best
engine braking for driving in hilly terrain or hazardous conditions). Whenever the vehicle is at a standstill apply the parking
brake. Use the rotary grip control dial to automatically select various driving modes for different road surface conditions.

Use hazard lights. Attempt to park
in a safe position.
Use an emergency phone rather

CAUTION!
When parked, the handbrake (or electronic

vehicle left in first or reverse gear for vehicles
with manual transmission or P (Park) for

CHILD SEATS
Never use a child seat in a front
passenger seat which is fitted with
an active airbag (SRS). Follow all
fitting instructions carefully.
Check seat positioning and security
before use.
TYRE PRESSURES (COLD)
Check tyre pressure regularly

Check the tyre pressure table found on
the inside of driver's door B-pillar (or fuel
filler cap).
