Installation, Operation, and Service Procedures
General
This booklet covers EQAS AS-5 series heaters. They are designed to be used only
with baptismal pools manufactured by Fiberglass Specialties, Inc.
The EQAS AS-5 replaces the EQAS H-5, S-5, H-11 & S-11 models. This replacement
was necessary to keep aligned with current building codes.
HEY! Adjust the System Timer by turning the dial clockwise only. Do not attempt to
turn the Timer counter clockwise or permanent damage to the Timer will occur.
Note: These systems are designed for use with municipal water systems. The
warranty for all products (including the pool) is void if any non-potable water is used in
the pool.

Step 2 Electrical IMPORTANT NOTE : Due to the risk of electrical shock, a licensed electrician experienced in spa/ baptismal pool heaters should install this unit in strict compliance with the National Electrical Code and any state or local code which may apply. Air Switch Installation This heater is supplied with 2 air switches, each with 10’ of tube, to control start/stop and fill/drain. The air switches can be mounted on the lip of the pool or any other convenient location. The air button in the heater package allows for NON-ELECTRICAL start/stop of the system and will override the time clock function. -
