AUTOMATIC WATCH
When a watch is first purchased or if the watch hands have stopped moving, it
is a good idea to gently wind the mainspring to restart, and put energy on the
mainspring. An automatic watch will only wind when the watch is on your wrist
and your arm moves. This is also advisable before setting the time on your watch.
To wind an automatic watch - If your timepiece has a
Screw-Down Crown, unscrew the crown by turning the
crown anti-clockwise until it turns freely without tension
(For a crown without a screw-down feature, simply pull
the crown out to the '0' position).
Then hand wind the mainspring by simply turning the crown clockwise. Wind 15-
20 times and it will start to move naturally after shaking slightly.
This watch MUST be worn for at least 8 (Eight) hours each day to
ensure it is fully wound.

Once the crown is fully unscrewed, it automatically sets itself into position “0”. GENTLY pull the crown out to the other desired positions for watch setting.
