INSTRUCTION MANUAL

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

• Please read these instructions carefully
before using the appliance.
• Check that your mains voltage corresponds
to that stated on the appliance.
• Never leave the appliance unsupervised
when in use. Keep out of reach of children or
incompetent persons.
• From time to time check the cord for
damages. Never use the appliance if cord
or appliance shows any signs of damage
but have it checked and repaired by a
competent qualified service (*). Should the
cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a
competent qualified service (*)
• Only use the appliance for domestic
purposes and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.
Never place it into the dishwasher.
• Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
• Before cleaning, always unplug the
appliance from the power supply.
• Never use the appliance outside and always
place it in a dry environment.
• Never use accessories which are not
recommended by the producer. They could
constitute a danger to the user and risk to
damage the appliance.
• Never move the appliance by pulling the
cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught
in any way. Do not wind the cord around the
appliance and do not bend it.
• Stand the appliance on a table or flat
surface.
• Make sure the appliance has cooled down
before cleaning and storing it.
• Make sure the cord never comes into contact
with the hot parts of the appliance.
• The temperature of the accessible surfaces
may be very high when the appliance is in
use. Make sure not to touch these hot parts
of the appliance.
• Make sure the appliance never comes into
contact with inflammable materials, such as
curtains, cloth, etc...when it is in use, as a
fire might occur.
• Be careful not to scratch the special coating
of the cooking plate, as you might get little
pieces of this coating into the food. Use a
classical wooden spatula or a heat resistant
plastic one.
• Always unplug the appliance when it is not in
use, especially since it is not equipped with
an on/off switch.
• Only use the appliance for food that is
supposed to be cooked.
• Never transport the appliance with handle.
• The appliance is not intended to be operated
by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
• This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after sales
department of the producer or importer or
any person who is qualified, approved and
competent to perform this kind of repairs in
order to avoid all danger. In any case you
should return the appliance to this electrician.

USE
• Protective coating burn off will cause
smoking on first use. This is NOT harmful.
• When using for the first time, wipe the
surface of the plates with a damp cloth, then
dry.
• You may season the plates with butter,
margarine or cooking fat. Since the
appliance has a non-stick coated surface,
the use of butter or oil is optional.

• Attention: during the functioning, the baking
plates heat up. Pay attention not to get
burned.
180° OPENING
1. Place the grill on a clean flat and heat-
resistant surface where you intend to cook.
Normally, the grill is opened at an angle of
105 degree as shown in Fig.1.
2. When the appliance is positioned as Fig. 1,
hold the upper plate forward to a less leaning
angle and press the hinge release button.
The upper cooking plate can be placed in
180 degrees with the bottom cooking plate
as Fig. 2 shows.
3. Use the grill as an open grill to cook burgers,
steak, poultry, fish and vegetables.
4. To return to the position in Fig.1, just life
up the upper cooking plate to the leaning
position. When the hinge release button
popped out, the upper plate has been locked
in its leaning position.
5. The intelligent mode is inapplicable when the
grill in used in the flat open position.
NOTE: The fan will keep working 3 minues
when press the power button to shut down if the
plug in socket.
ASSEMBLE THE ROASTING TRAYS
Normally, the grill is opened at an angle of 180
degree as shown in Fig. 2.
Insert the trays into the clamps near the hinge
and push down the front end of tray with a little
force to snap the tray into place

OPERATION

(Not applicable when the appliance is used
in 105° or 180° open position)
INTELLIGENT MODE
1. Put the plug into the power outlet, there will
be beep sound
2. Press the "Power Switch" button, the
status indicator will light successively and
repetitively to remind you to choose the food
category on the control panel. For example,
if you want to roast chicken, you may press
the "chicken" button. After you select the
food category, the five indicators will light
together.
3. Press "OK" button when all the setting is
ok, let the appliance to preheating, only the
"PRE-HEATING" indicator light will illuminate
accordingly.
4. When the temperature reach the required
one, there will be beep sound to show the
preheating is finished and you can put the
chicken on the cooking plate. At this time,
the "PRE-HEATING" indicator light will blink
steadily and "START TO COOK" indicator
will start to illuminate.
5. Put the food on the bottom plate and close
the plates up. Food thickness can be
detected within 3s and the appliance will
choose the heating procedure accordingly. At
this time, the "PRE-HEARING" and "START
TO COOK" will illuminate steadily and the
"RARE" indicator will blink.
6. With the continuously heating, the indicator
light will gradually turn on from "RARE" to
"WELL DONE" to show the food status.
Once one status has been reached, the
blinking indicator will illuminate steadily and
the next indicator will start to blink.
7. When the indicator for "WELL DONE" lights
on steadily, the whole roasting process is
finished and there will be beep sound then
appliance will turn off automatically. Open
the plates by the handle and check the food.
MANUAL MODE
1. Put the plug into the power outlet and the
appliance sends out beep sound.
2. Press the power switch and then press
the "M" button to select the manual mode.
The indicator lights blink through the five
statuses.
3. Press "OK" and then the appliance starts to
preheat. Only the "PRE-HEATING" indicator
blinks at this time.
4. When preheating is finished, there will be
beep sound. The "PRE-HEATING" indicator
illuminates steadily and the other four
indicators blink successively.
5. Place food on the plate. Close up the plates
and the appliance starts to roast food. In
manual mode, there is no food thickness
detection and status reminding. Check
the food status after several minutes. The
appliance will automatically after two hours.
CLEANING
• Before cleaning, unplug and wait for the
appliance and the plates to cool down.
Allow to cool with the Top Non-Stick Coated
Toasting Plate open.
• Wipe the inside and the edges of the platen
with kitchen roll, absorbent paper towelling
or a soft cloth.
