WARNING! Important safety information
Intended use
The Duocharger was primarily developed for charging smartphones and further
devices that can be charged using a USB connector. Use it only for this pur-
pose and only as described in these operating instructions. Please also note the
manufacturer's specifications and operating instructions for the various devices
themselves.
Foreseeable improper use
The Duocharger cannot be used as a USB hub (USB distributor). It does not allow
data to be transferred between the different USB connectors.
Safety measures during set-up and operation
•
Keep the product and power adapter away from moisture. Electric Shock Hazard!
If moisture gets into the equipment, have a qualified technician check the safety of
the components before you use it again.
•
Check the product, cable and adapter for any damage before use. If there is any
visible damage or a strong odour, unplug all the connections immediately and
stop using the product.
•
Set up the product near an easily accessible power socket. Make sure the product
can be disconnected from the mains at all times.
•
Arrange the mains power cable so that it is not over-stretched, pinched or twisted
and that no one can trip over it. It is particularly important that no damage can be
caused to the plug or the mains cable outlet from the power adapter.
•
Unplug the product during electrical storms or when not in use.
•
Do not use near flammable materials or in explosive environments. Do not use
near heat sources, heating vents or in direct sunlight and only at ambient tem-
peratures of between 0 °C and 40 °C.
•
Always disconnect the power adapter from the mains by pulling the plug, never
the cable. Never touch the mains plug with wet hands.
•
Use the product with the supplied power adapter only.
•
Use and store the product out of reach of children.
Care during cleaning, transport and storage
•
Unplug the device before transport, cleaning and storage.
•
Do not attempt to open, modify or repair the product. Do not drop, puncture, break
or expose to high pressure. Contact your dealer if repairs become necessary.
•
Use a damp cloth for cleaning. Never use liquids such as water, household
cleaners, gasoline, alcohol or paint thinner.
