McHale C430/C460/C470/C490 Bale Chopper The C430 linkage machine should also be level and horizontal to the ground when in the working position and this is normally achieved by adjusting the top link, keeping PTO offset angles to a minimum. Ensure that all bolts, on both the upper and lower linkage brackets (as shown), are tightened to a suitable torque value. - Page 44 McHale C430/C460/C470/C490 Bale Chopper After measuring carefully, the PTO shaft halves should be cut equally so that the PTO shaft assembly is kept as long as possible, whilst just allowing enough room for its removal. Sometimes control for moving chute direction won't work and it moves tailboard and lid for controlling feed into blower instead
The chute direction control on a McHale C4 Series could malfunction due to several possible causes:
