Cleaning and maintenance

A
NOTICE!
• Never clean the appliance under run-
ning water or in dish water.
• Do not allow water to enter the burner
outlets, mantle or aeration holes
located in the base of the burner tube.
• Do not use sharp or hard objects, abra-
sive cleaning agents or bleach during
cleaning as these can damage the
appliance.
➤Occasionally clean the appliance exterior with a
mild detergent and a damp cloth.

Storing the water heater

1. With the appliance operating, turn the gas
regulator off.
✔ The burner will continue to operate until all gas
has bled from the gas hose and gas regulator
assembly.
2. Turn the power switch (fig. 2 10, page 3) to
the "OFF" position.
3. Disconnect the water pump from the appli-
ance (see fig. a, page 7 and fig. b, page 7).
4. Disconnect the shower head and water hose
from the water outlet (see fig. c, page 7 and
fig. d, page 7).
5. Disconnect the 12 V DC cable (see fig. e,
page 8).
6. Disconnect the gas hose from the appliance
(see fig. f, page 8).
7. Disconnect the gas hose from the gas regula-
tor (see fig. g, page 9).
8. Follow the instructions of the gas regulator
manufacturer to disconnect the gas regulator
from the gas cylinder.
9. Leave the appliance to cool down properly.
10. Store the appliance and its parts in the carry
bag.
11. Place the carry bag in a dry and well ventilated
area free from direct sunlight, heat and ignition
sources.
