3.1 INSTALLATION OF BOTH HNS410TM AND HNS440TM IN THE WALL PLATE
Installing both units in the wall plate allows for independent control of the fan, i.e the fan can be switched on
and off by itself, and can even be turned on indefinitely.
• Turn OFF power at the switchboard.
• Remove existing gang of wall switches and disconnect from the lamp and fan, if retro fitting.
• Clip the button on to the HNS410TM unit. Ensure that the button is oriented so that the LED light pipe is
aligned with the hole in the button and attach to wall plate, refer to Figure 1 and 2.
• Repeat the same procedure for the HNS440TM unit.
• Connect the wiring for the HNS410TM, HNS440TM and respective light and fan loads as per the following
wiring diagram in Figure 3.

3.2 INSTALLATION OF HNS410TM IN WALL PLATE AND HNS440TM IN THE CEILING
• Attach the HNS410TM to the wall plate as described in the section above.
• Install the HNS440TM in the ceiling, close to the Fan.
• Connect the wiring for the HNS410TM, HNS440TM and respective light and fan loads as per the following
wiring diagram in Figure 3.

4. WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMER
CABAC warrant the product against manufacturing and material defect from the date of invoice to the initial
purchaser for a period of 12 months. During the warranty period CABAC will replace products that prove to be
defective where the product has been correctly installed and maintained and operated within the specifications
defined in the product data sheet and where the product is not subject to mechanical damage or chemical attack.
The warranty is also conditional on the unit being installed by a licensed electrical contractor. No other warranty
is expressed or implied.
CABAC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
