OWNER'S MANUAL
1. FEATURES
• Helps extract humid air and odours from bathroom and laundries.
• Can reduce the growth of mould and mildew.
• Helps improve air quality.
• Eliminates accidentally leaving the power ON.
• Individual timer units to control all elements of a combination of LAMP and FAN.
• Both the HNS410TM, CABAC Minute Timer 2-Wire (for LAMP) and the HNS440TM, CABAC Minute Mech
Timer 3-Wire (for FAN) can be mounted in the wall plate which allows the fan to be operated independently,
neutral must be provided.
• Alternatively, the HNS410TM (for LAMP) can be mounted in the wall plate and the HNS440TM (for FAN) can
be mounted separately in the ceiling cavity near the fan; neutral required only in the ceiling cavity for 3-wire
timer.

3. OPERATION
• Use of the HNS442FF CABAC Follow-On Fan Kit improves air quality by helping to remove humid air and
odours which can reduce the build up of mould and mildew.
• When power is OFF – a quick tap of front button on HNS410TM turns the light ON for the programmed time
period, and also turns the fan ON by starting the HNS440TM.
• When the light controlled by HNS410TM turns OFF after its programmed time period, the fan stays ON for its
programmed time period.
• If the lamp and fan are required to be ON for an extended period then the timer can be set to indefinitely ON
by holding the HNS410TM button down for 2 seconds.
• When power is ON – a quick tap of front button on HNS410TM turns the light OFF, and the Fan stays ON for
its programmed time period.
4. INSTALLATION AND WIRING
The HNS442FF Follow-On Fan Kit is to be installed as part of a fixed wire electrical installation. By law such
installations must be made by an electrical contractor or similarly qualified person.
Avoid excessive force on remote input wire or terminal block during installation.
