Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

    KIN SUB 10 Congratulations on your new Totem KIN subwoofer! A compact, reference sub designed to seamlessly blend with your Totem speakers in any stereo or home theatre application. Please take the time to fully read this manual prior to beginning set-up. The manual will clearly guide you to achieve the best possible sound that these newly acquired Totem speakers are capable of providing.

  • Page 7 7)Power Mode: In the AUTO setting, the KIN Sub 10 will automatically wake from standby when it senses and incoming signal and return to standby when no signal is present. In the ON mode, the sub will always stay on and not go into a standby mode, even if a signal is not present.
  • Page 8 See Fig. 1. When the Totem subwoofer is used in a home cinema system it is recommended to place it in a corner. See Fig.2. Be careful not to place the subwoofer too close to the corner, or it will start to sound congested, causing detail loss.
  • Page 9 CONNECTIONS Prior to making any connections ensure the power switch is set to OFF and the VOLUME dial is set to its minimum value. LFE/Sub Out Connection: This is the most popular method for connecting a subwoofer and is used with most stereo receivers, surround receivers, and some integrated amplifiers.

    WIRELESS CONNECTION OPTION The KIN SUB 10 can be connected wirelessly in tandem with the Totem Link wireless transmitter. The pairing button and blue LED on the amp panel is used in conjunction with the transmitter. Consult its manual for wireless connection set up.

All Totem products are created with the utmost care and quality in mind. If ever a problem should arise, Totem’s subwoofers are covered by a two (2) year limited warranty, starting from the date of purchase.
