2-2. CONNECTING WIRES FOR OUTDOOR UNIT
e sure to use special circuits for room air conditioner.
Wiring wor should be based on applicable technical standards.
Wiring connections should be made following the diagram.
Screws should be tightened so they won't loosen.
1) Remo e the ser ice panel.
2) Remo e the conduit plate.
3) Attach the conduit connector to conduit plate with loc nut then secure
it to the unit with screws. e sure to attach the conduit connectors in
the correct locations according to their sizes.
4) Connect ground wires to the T bed.
5) Loosen terminal screw, and connect indoor/outdoor unit connecting
wire ( ) from the indoor unit correctly on the terminal bloc . e careful
not to ma e mis-wiring. Fix the wire to the terminal bloc securely so
that no part of its core is appeared, and no external force is con eyed
to the connecting section of the terminal bloc .
6) Firmly tighten the terminal screws to pre ent them from loosening. After
tightening, pull the wires lightly to con rm that they do not mo e.
7) Perform 5) and 6) for each indoor unit.
8) Connect power supply cord (A).
9) Close the ser ice panel securely. Ma e sure that 3-2. PIPE CONNEC-
TION is completed.

WARNING:
Use the indoor/outdoor unit connecting wire that meets the Stand-
ards to connect the indoor and outdoor units and x the wire to
round
the terminal block securely so that no external force is conveyed
to the connecting section of the terminal block. An incomplete
connection or xing of the wire could result in a re.
For future ser icing, gi e extra length to the connecting wires.
Turn on the main power when the ambient temperature is - F
(-20 C) or higher.
Under conditions of - F (-20 C), it needs at least hr stand by
before the units operate in order to warm the electrical parts.
