When used in range-finding mode, the Ranger 800 finds and measures the distance to a target very quickly. It uses an internal liquid crystal display (LCD) to show the user where to aim the laser and the distance measured. - Page 4 Ranger 800 Product Features The illustration below shows the main features of the Ranger 800. The Ranger 800 has two operating buttons marked Eyepiece and and ‘Mode’. Depending on the status of the device, focusing ring Power button these buttons will power on the device, set the operating modes and capture the measurement data.

DO NOT USE ABRASIVE OR CAUSTIC CLEANING AGENTS OR MATERIALS. The Ranger 800 contains a laser device and there are no user-serviceable parts inside. As such, the product casing should not be opened except by trained service personnel. Please see the Warranty and Repair section below.
