Questions and answers
Light worked for two years. The following year, light will no longer turn on. I stored it in a dry place over the winter. No visible damage.
The INNOVAPLAS 9015 RGB BT light may not turn on after two years of use due to one or more of the following reasons:
1. Water damage: If the connector was submerged or the fixture was exposed to freezing weather without proper storage, internal components may be damaged.
2. Improper storage: If the step assembly was not fully drained and dried before winter storage, moisture could have caused damage.
3. Electrical issues: The light must be plugged into a GFCI-protected grounding-type receptacle. If the GFCI has tripped or the receptacle is faulty, the light will not work.
4. Damaged cord or plug: The power cord may have become worn or damaged over time, especially if not properly secured with tie wraps or exposed to weather.
5. Faulty light fixture: After extended use, internal components may fail due to wear or manufacturing defects.
6. Damaged lens: If the plastic lens is damaged, the light should not be used and may not function properly.
Check the power source, GFCI, and inspect the cord and fixture for visible damage.
