Problem
The
appliance
does not
work.
The sonic
vibration
does not
work.
Possible cause
There is a power failure
or the socket to which
the appliance is
connected is not live.
You have not switched on
the appliance.
The appliance switched
off automatically after
having been on for 1
hour.
The mains cord is
damaged
The appliance is not
suitable for the voltage to
which it has been
connected.
The sonic vibration starts
to work when you press
the plates together.
The sonic vibration is
switched off.
Solution
Check if the power supply
works. If it does, plug in
another appliance to check
whether the socket is live.
Press the on/off button to
switch on the appliance.
Switch the appliance off and
on again.
If the mains cord is
damaged, you must have it
replaced by Philips, a service
centre authorised by Philips
or similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
Make sure that the voltage
indicated on the appliance
corresponds to the local
mains voltage.
Press the plates together.
Press the sonic vibration on/
off button to switch on the
sonic vibration.
