It is vital that your tent is stored when it is dry, and not at all damp, otherwise it may suffer from mildew. It is ok to take it down whilst the tent is damp, however, you must ensure to hang it up to dry within 48 hours. This can be done by being hung on a washing line, or over something, to air dry.
The lifespan of your tent is very dependent upon camping conditions. Air pollution, ultraviolet radiation, natural dirt (bird droppings, sand, salt water) and domestic dirt (cooking stains, soda, wine, sun cream) could all limit the lifespan of your canvas tent. Your Yurt Tent should last for many years if looked after correctly. zippers Zippers sometimes endure extreme tensions caused by wind, incorrect tent set up or pressure caused by people or objects leaning onto the tent.
