- Page 6 ½” Nose Cone The 079B21 is a ½” Nose Cone designed to be mounted on a ½” measurement microphone. The nose cone replaces the protective grid cap. The nose cone reduces the aerodynamically induced noise when measuring in high-speed laminar flows, as for example in wind tunnels.
