Phantom powered microphone systems use a 3 pin XLR connector. A phantom powered microphone sys- tem should use a 48V phantom power supply or signal conditioner for optimum performance; however these microphone systems may be powered with a 24V or a 12V phantom power supply, but this will lim- it the maximum output voltage.
