5. While sitting on the seat, set the parking brake,
move the gear shift lever to neutral and move the
power take off (PTO) to disengaged. Now start
the engine. While the engine is running, depress
the clutch, place the gear shift lever into gear,
release the parking brake and begin driving the
tractor. While driving rise slightly from the seat;
the engine should stop.
6. While sitting on the seat, set the parking brake,
move the gear shift lever to neutral and move the
power take off (PTO) to disengaged. Now start
the engine. While the engine is running, depress
the clutch and place the gear shift lever into gear;
the engine should stop.
7. Put the PTO lever in the "disengage" position
and the gear shifter in neutral. Now start the
engine. While the engine is running, move the
PTO lever to the "engage" position, push in the
clutch and put the gear shifter in reverse. The
engine should stop.
8. Put the PTO lever in the "disengage" position
and the gear shifter in neutral. Now start the
engine. Move the PTO lever to the "engage"
position and turn the "Key Choice" key and
release. The Operating–in–Reverse warning
light should illuminate. Move the PTO lever to
the "disengage" position and the
Operating–in–Reverse warning light should turn
off.
