Note: Applying labels to the base cover
The new base cover FRU is shipped with a kit containing labels of several
kinds. When you replace the base cover, you need to apply the following
labels:
The following labels need to be peeled off from the old base cover and put
on the new base cover.
a GML label
b CNC label for Argentina (68 x 6 mm) or ADT label for Argentina
(65 x 20 mm)
c MCMC label for Malaysia (8 x 8 mm)
d BT label for US/CA/TW or WLAN label for US/CA/TW (32 x 10 mm)
KR KCC label (43 x 24 mm)
e
Indonesia D side label (26 x 10 mm) or Indonesia postel label
f
(15 x 10 mm)
g
BIS label for India (40 x 10 mm)
h BT label for Israel or WLAN label for Israel (32 x 10 mm)
i BRAZIL BT or WLAN label for Brazil (35 x 15 mm)
j WLAN label for South Africa (20 x 10 mm)
k QR code label for China
For some models, you also need to apply one or two FCC labels. Check the
old base cover; if it has one or two FCC labels, find duplicates of them in the
label kit and apply them to the new base cover.
