Periodic Maintenance
Air Filter Cleaning
The air filter affects the performance and fuel
consumption of your scooter. Keep it clean! It
should be cleaned at intervals specified in this
owner's manual, or sooner depending on
riding conditions.
1.
Place the scooter on the center stand.
2.
Remove the left side panel by removing
the screws.
3.
Remove the air filter cover by removing
the screws on it.
4. Remove the air filter element. Wash it
gently but thoroughly in solvent, do not
use water. Replace air filter if it is dam-
aged.
5. Squeeze out excess solvent and dry.
6. Reinstall the air filter and air filter cover.
