Safety Precautions

To prevent the risk of danger to humans or property damages, make sure to follow the precautions described below.
The descriptions are classifi ed according to the degree of harm or damage caused by misuse.
WARNING
For Power Plug and Cord
Prohibited matters
(To prevent fi re or electric shock)
● Do not damage, modify, immoderately bend, twist,
pull, or bundle them. Do not put them close to heating
appliances. Do not put anything heavy on them.
● Do not connect/disconnect them with wet hand.
● Do not hold the cord when pulling out of the socket.
● Do not use a damaged cord and power plug. Also, do
not use them when the socket is loose.
Matters to be observed
(To prevent fi re or electric shock)
● Use a socket solely that satisfi es the rating
requirement. (Using in combination with other
appliances could cause fi re.)
● Insert the power plug all the way seated.
● Wipe the plug periodically with dry cloth.
( Accumulated dust collects moisture, which may
cause insulation failure, resulting in fi re.)
● Pull out the cord before cleaning or when not used for
a long period of time.
● If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualifi ed person to avoid a hazard.
In case of emergency or operation
failure, stop using the washing
machine immediately and pull out
the power plug.
(To prevent fume, fi re or electric shock)
● No operation even at power on, accumulated dust
and moisture on the power plug, abnormal sound in
operation, burnt odour, etc.

inspection and repair

WARNING
For Tub and Main Unit
Do not allow children to use alone.
● This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
● Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
Never disassemble, repair or remodel.
( To prevent fi re or abnormal operation, resulting in
injury.)
Keep fi re away from the main unit.
(To prevent fi re)
Do not touch the tub until it
completely stops.
( Your fi ngers may be entangled in the laundry even
during slow rotation, resulting in injury.)
If the tub does not stop within 15 seconds when the
lid is opened during spin cycle, switch off the washing
machine immediately and call a service person.
Do not splash water over the
washing machine. Do not install at
a damp place or place which may
be exposed to rain, water, etc.
(To prevent electric shock or fi re)
● Balcony, bathroom, etc.
Make sure to provide a ground.
(To prevent electric shock by short circuit)
● Ask a service person for grounding work.
May cause minor or
