Settings
Location
Change settings for location information permissions.
On the Settings screen, tap Location, and then tap the Location switch to activate it.
• M ode: Select a method to collect your location data.
• R ecent location requests: View which apps request your current location information
and their battery usage.
• L ocation services: View the location services your device is using.
• M y places: Save your favourite locations for use with apps that require location
information. Your device will provide relevant information and services by recognising
saved locations using Maps, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
SIM card manager
Activate your SIM or USIM cards and customise the SIM card settings.
On the Settings screen, tap SIM card manager. Tap one or both of the switches for the SIM or
USIM cards to activate them. Refer to
• V oice call: Select a SIM or USIM card for voice calls.
• D ata service network: Select a SIM or USIM card for data service.
• D ual SIM always on: Set the device to allow incoming calls from both SIM or USIM card
even during calls.
When this feature is enabled, you may incur additional charges for call forwarding
depending on the region or service provider.
NFC and sharing
Change the settings for various sharing features.
On the Settings screen, tap NFC and sharing.
• N FC: Change settings for using the NFC feature. Refer to
• N earby devices: Change the settings for sharing content with nearby devices. All devices
must support Wi-Fi Direct or be connected to the same Wi-Fi network or a mobile
hotspot.
