Word Searching
Take The Standard Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese as
an example to illustrate the method of searching a word.
• Words in alphabetical order in the index screen.
• If you know clearly the word's spelling, you could input
the word and press
ENTER
• If you are not sure of a word's spelling, you could use
Wildcard Search. Input all the letters you know, and then
replace the unknown letters with "?" or "*". "?" stands for
an unknown letter. "*" stands for a string of unknown
letters.
• You can corss search the words in explanation screen:
press
to mark the word, press
highlight the words from the marked word, or just tap the
word you want to highlight. Press corresponding keys to
view the explanation of highlighted words.
• Press
to adjust the font size.
