Watching the Images Being
Recorded (Time Slip)
This function allows you to watch the recently
recorded images on the screen while a
recording is in progress, with a 10 second delay.
In Stop mode
1
Press the TIME SLIP button to start recording.
• The message "Preparing Pause TV mode." is
displayed for 10 seconds, and the screen pauses
on the first frame of the title that is being played
back.

• If paused for 5 minutes without any operation, it
returns to normal playback mode.
• You can use playback related buttons to go to
the desire scene.
• Forward Scan operation on a title that you are
currently recording will switch to normal play-
back automatically when it reaches 10 seconds
ahead of the current recording position.

Press the REC button repeatedly to set the OTR.
(One Touch Record)
• Record length 0:30 appears on the On-Screen
Display and the DVD Recorder & VCR will record
for exactly 30 minutes.

If you want to stop recording, press the TIME SLIP
button.
• The message "Save the contents of Pause TV
program?" is displayed.
Save the contents of Pause TV program?
Yes
Press the œ √ buttons to select Yes, then press

the OK button.
• The message "Updating the Information of disc.
Please wait for a moment" is displayed.
No
In Record mode
1
Press the REC button.
Wait 10 seconds and press the TIME SLIP button.
The recently recorded image are played back on
the screen with a 10 second delay.
• You can use playback related buttons to go to
the desire scene.
• Forward Scan operation on a title that you are
currently recording will automatically switch to
normal playback when it reaches 10 seconds
ahead of the current recording position.

available. (When you recording by pressing

Note

the TIME SLIP button in stop mode, TITLE
LIST button is not available)
During a timer recording, Time Slip function
does not operates.
During Chase Play Mode, when stopping the
recording due to disc full/copy protect,
playback/recording are stopped, and it saves
the title being recorded.
