Operation
• On delivery there are 3x type LR44 button batteries in the battery compartment. There is
an insulating film between the battery contacts to protect the product from unintentionally
triggering an alarm during transport. Pull the film out of the slot at the back to expose the
battery contacts.
• The pocket alarm can be carried comfortably in a pocket. However, keep it ready to hand, so
that the alarm can be triggered without any problems in an emergency. Also take note, that
the alarm buttons cannot be unintentionally pressed simultaneously at both sides.
• The product can be attached e.g. to a bunch of keys or a wrist strap at the eyelet (1). The

Replacing the batteries
• Change the batteries when the volume decreases, or at least once a year.
• Unscrew the 4 screws of the battery compartment cover (4) with a suitable Phillips screwdriver.
Carefully remove the battery compartment cover. Note the position of the switch-off button (5),
in case this comes loose when removing the battery compartment cover.
• In this case the alarm buttons (3) loosen at both sides. After changing the batteries, the alarm
buttons must be carefully replaced in the original position.
• Remove the used batteries and insert 3 equivalent new type LR44 button batteries in the
battery compartment. Observe correct polarity (+/-) as indicated in the battery compartment.
The plus side of the battery must point towards the spring in the battery compartment. Insert
the batteries in the same direction.
• Place the alarm buttons on the side of the casing and make sure, that the switch-off button
is in its correct position.
