    Featuring 24 inputs (16 RCA, 8 CAT5), the IVDS accepts composite video signals over RCA (from video cameras and other composite sources) and CAT5 wiring (from door stations and Crestron devices that transmit composite video over CAT5) and can switch them to any of 24 composite output channels (8 RCA, 16 CAT5).

  • Page 7 Crestron C2N-IVDS24x24 Paging Connect the audio outputs of the IADS to a Crestron CNX-PAD8A (PAD8A) or CNX-BIPAD8 (BIPAD8) audio distribution system to add whole facility paging through the audio distribution system. Connect a Crestron CNXTA telephone card (requires a control system that accepts expansion cards) to the IADS to allow dial-up paging to specific or to all zones throughout the facility.

When calculating the wire gauge for a particular Cresnet run, the length of the run and the power factor of each Cresnet unit to be connected must be taken into consideration.
