Several components which are used in the manufacture of the equipment but not manu- factured by Warrantor, such as cant hooks, power plants, laser sights, batteries, tires, and trailer axles have warranties provided by the original equipment manufacturer (written copies available upon request).

Failure to do so will cause death or serious injury. DANGER! Always wear safety goggles and a face shield when working near batteries.
Electrical Lockout Procedures EMERGENCY TREATMENT FOR CONTACT WITH BATTERY COMPONENTS (LEAD/SUL- per SDS (Safety Data Sheet): FURIC ACID) EYE CONTACT Sulfuric Acid and Lead: Flush eyes immediately with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes while lifting lids. Electrical Lockout Procedures GENERAL The following simple lockout procedure is provided to assist owner/operators in develop- ing their procedures so they meet the requirements of OSHA regulation 1910.147. When the energy isolating devices are not lockable, tagout may be used, provided the owner/operator complies with the provisions of the standard which require additional training and more rigorous periodic inspections.

Stored or residual energy (such as that in capacitors, springs, elevated machine mem- bers, rotating flywheels, hydraulic systems, and air, gas, steam, or water pressure, etc.) must be dissipated or restrained by methods such as grounding, repositioning, blocking, bleeding down, etc.

Setup and Operation Setup NOTE: Incline conveyor section must be supported during assem- bly. 7. Install the assembled incline conveyor section to the upper leg frame as in figure 3-4. 8. Assemble the lower feet to the upper weldment in approximately the expected height of the finished incline.

Install the motor and gearbox to the conveyor and secure with the provided washers and hex head bolts as shown in figure 3-6. NOTE: Do not tighten the drive assembly mount bolts until the drive chain is installed and properly tensioned.

Use the belt tensioner bolts and jam nuts at the end of the conveyor assembly to align and tension the belt as necessary (See Section 4.2 for belt alignment).
Setup and Operation Pre-Operation Check Pre-Operation Check Prior to operating the conveyor; always perform these basic checks: 1. Make sure the conveyor has been properly set up. 2. Make sure the motor drive chain is tensioned properly. See Section 4.1 for more informa- tion.
Tensioning the Drive Chain SECTION 4 MAINTENANCE DANGER! Take proper protective measures against rotating shafts, pulleys, fans, etc.; stay a safe distance from rotating members so that loose clothing or long hair does not engage rotating members. Failure to do so will result in serious injury or death. WARNING! Wear proper safety equipment (eye, ear, hand, breathing, or foot) when performing service functions.

Belt Alignment 4. Turn the tensioner bolts to tension or loosen the conveyor belt. See Figure 4-2. Jam Nut Belt Tensioner Bolt ICS0006 FIG. 4-2 5. Tighten the jam nuts and start the drive motor to check if the conveyor belt still needs to be aligned.
Check Belt Wear NOTE: You can also use the adjustment bolt securing one side of the drive roller to align the conveyor belt. To align the conveyor belt, loosen the jam nut and turn the adjustment bolt to align the belt as necessary. Make sure the belt remains centered on the drive roller while operating the conveyor.
6000 Use 28 ounces (0.83L) of Mobil Glygoyle 460 oil to refill the gearbox. Change oil every time when performing maintenance that requires gearbox disassembly. Wood-Mizer offers replacement gear oil in 8 ounce (0.24L) bottles. Lubrication DANGER! Turn off and disconnect power supply before performing any service to the unit.
