Operation
Open the door, and put the Knives in the basket (Knives should be washed and dried before placing
inside the steriliser). Ensure that the knives are held in the rack with the blade facing upwards and
angled towards the back of the unit. The handle of the knife should be resting on the floor of the unit
behind the front lip.
Close the door.
Connect the appliance to the suitable mains supply and turn on the power supply.
There are 2 methods of operating the Knife Steriliser:
Turn the timer dial to the"ON" position - the lamp will continue to operate until the door is
opened or the timer is returned to the "OFF" position (Note: 120 minutes is the time required to
ensure sterilization).
To use the timer function rotate the dial to the 120 minute position. The unit will then operate
for 120 minutes (Note: 120 minutes is the time required to ensure sterilization).
A safety switch turns off the lamp when the door is opened.
DO NOT look directly at the lamp.
