Before using the smoke detector for the first time, make sure you activate it and test it is
working properly.

1) Place the battery in the battery compartment and connect it as shown in the picture
above.
2) Place the mounting plate on the smoke detector and fix it in place by turning it clo-
ckwise.
3) Check that the battery is properly connected and your detector is activated by pres-
sing the button until you hear a beep.
Note: If there is no sound, the smoke detector has not been correctly activated and must
not be used!

6. Place the smoke plate on the mounting bracket and fix it in place by turning it clockwise.
7. Check that your detector is working properly by pressing the test button. If there is no
sound, the smoke detector is not working correctly and must not be used!

3. Installation tips

3.1. Where to install the smoke detector
The smoke detectors must be installed so that they can detect smoke.
- Install in places where people sleep (especially children's bedrooms)

1. Remove the mounting plate from the smoke
detector.
2. Place the mounting plate in the desired lo-
cation and use a pencil to mark the position
of the holes.
3. Remove the mounting plate and make two
holes with a diameter of 5 millimetres.
4. Push the plastic wall plugs into the holes.
5. Insert the screws into the mounting plate
and tighten them securely into the wall
plugs.
