Page 11: Coupling To The Tractor
Purpose The Drum Mower SN-165 was manufactured exclusively for mowing plants used for making pre-dried hay or silage, such as alfalfa, oatmeal, ryegrass, coast-cross, clover, rhodes, in fact, any plants with thin stalks which grow near the ground, especially herbs. -

Operating preparation During the preparation phase, the power take-off must be disengaged. BEWARE Check to see if the machine does not articulate inadvertently and spontaneously into the operating position, and never stay in the machine articulating zone, and definitely not, between the tractor and the machine. -

Transporting the machine 1- Use the hydraulic system of the tractor to lift the machine a little. 2- Remove the locking pin (5) from the safety device (1) and release the lever (9). 3- Turn the machine to the rear, until the pin fastened to the end of the rope (2) engages automatically. Parking: After the machine is in the transport position, lower the support base (10), fastening it to the cotter pin (8). - Page 15 CAUTION: The blade holder pins must be routinely inspected.
