DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS (FIG. 13)
When the unit is turned on, the display will show
the time, radio frequency, and the operating
mode in full brightness. You can dim the display
if necessary.
Press the LED button, the text on the display
will dim.
Press the LED button again, the display will
return to full brightness.
While the unit is in standby mode: press the
LED button to restore the full display brightness.
Press the LED button again to dim the display
brightness or it will dim automatically in 1
minute.
TUNING AM AND FM
The left and right arrow buttons and the MODE
button are used to tune to the desired radio
frequency. The selected frequency is shown on
the display.
Press the MODE button until AM or FM is
highlighted.
Manual tuning: Briefly press the
to set the desired frequency. Each press will
increase or decrease the frequency by 0.1MHz
for FM, 10kHz for AM. The frequency is shown
on the display.
STORING STATIONS IN PRESET MEMORIES
(AM AND FM) (FIG. 14)
There are 5 memory presets for each
waveband.
To store the current radio station, press and
hold the desired Preset button until the preset
number is shown on the display. The station is
then stored in the selected Preset button.
Repeat this procedure for the remaining
presets. Stations stored in the preset memory
can be overwritten by following the procedures
described above.
To recall stations from the preset memories,
briefly press the desired Preset button while the
unit is in radio mode. The preset number and
station frequency will appear on the display.

Scan Tuning: Press the
for 3 seconds, the tuner frequency will increase
to seek the first radio station with strong signal
and stop at that station. The frequency is shown
on the display. The right arrow button may be
pressed for 3 second again to continue seeking
a radio station at higher frequencies. The left

arrow button may be pressed to seek radio
stations at lower frequencies.
