We congratulate you for having chosen this Baron forced action mixer!
Before using your mixer you must read the instructions carefully.
1. Security instructions
The mixer must be connected to an installation which is protected with an HPFI relay (see the sign placed
on the main switch). Before using the mixer you must check that all components are in good condition and
that the operator has the competence and skill to use the machine safely. The outlet protection in front of
the outlet should be mounted and the warning sign visible. Do not move the machine while connected to
electricity. All demands as to health and safety should be observed and kept. Never put your fingers, hands
or tools in the mixer while it is working. On the work site, you must comply with all security rules and
instructions. And the provisions relating to accident prevention. Where there is a risk of inhaling dust
particles from the mixing process you must use proper protection and a dust-lid (accessory). Make certain
that you use materials suited for mixing concrete, cement or mortar and that the security instructions for
these materials are observed. The mixer must not be used in areas with risk of fire or explosion. Before
leaving the mixer it must be disconnected. The mixer is equipped with a switch which stops the motor when
the cover is opened. The mixer is equipped with a main switch with emergency stop. Under the emergency
stop you will find the start/stop buttons. The switch is equipped with under voltage relais. By power failure
the mixer must be restarted. The cover is secured from falling down by the means of a positioning bolt.
Warning: the mixer will run during the emptying process. It is therefore strictly prohibited to put fingers,
hands or tools through or near the net of the cover or the outlet. All warning signs must be clean and
visible for the user.
2. User Instructions
The cover must always be closed and the mixer arms should be correctly mounted, before starting the
mixer. Position the mixer on a hard horizontal surface. To start the mixer, activate the switch located under
the drum. For emptying the drum, operate the outlet handle. When the outlet is open the drum will empty
itself automatically. Do only use approved cables and plugs when using your mixer.
3. Cleaning and Maintenance
Inspection: The mixer should be inspected according to local rules and regulations.
Cleaning and maintenance: Before cleaning the mixer power should be disconnected. Clean the drum by
using water and a few shovels of gravel. Never hit the drum with a hard item such as a hammer or other
similar items.
The drum and the mixer arm should be checked after cleaning. Adjust the mixer blades so that the distance
to the bottom/side of the drum is 2-3mm. Never clean the electrical parts of the mixer with a high pressure
cleaner.
4. Transportation and lifting
Transportation: The mixer should preferably be transported lying down (however NOT E300/M300). The
mixer should be secured and fastened properly.
Lifting: Only approved and certified lifting equipment when lifting the mixer.
Warning: If your mixer (M300/E300) is equipped with a transport arm with tow coupling. It is only
permitted to transport the mixer on closed private property and over short distances, max. speed
10km/h

6. Warranty

The warranty cannot be maintained if you use the machine for other purposes than mixing, concrete,
cement or mortar. The warranty does not allow for compensation in any situation whatsoever. For other
