14.3. Method for adding refrigerant

14.3.1. Flow chart
Step 1
Calculate additional refrigerant charge amount: R (lbs. (kg))

• Close valves B and C
• Open valve A to the liquid line

• Charge remaining amount of refrigerant P (lbs. (kg))
• Close valve B
• Push BS3 to stop manual charging operation

• Fill in the amount on the additional refrigerant charge label
• Go to test run

• Refrigerant containers must be opened slowly.
• When charging a system, charging over the permissible quantity
