Setup Guide: CONNECT Universal Gateway With ID NOW

1. Overview

The Abbott CONNECT Universal Gateway is a network device designed to allow the transmission of test results
from a medical device to a central Abbott-managed portal, which is known as:
RALS LiNK
Sympheos
The Abbott ID NOW
infectious diseases. ID NOW
device.
This guide does not include detailed instructions for the use or operation of the ID NOW
further information please refer to https://www.globalpointofcare.abbott/en/product-details/id-now.html.
This guide includes instructions for direct-connect of up to two (2) ID NOW
CONNECT Unversal Gateway device.
Illustrations contained in this document are intended to be representative of screens displayed on an ID NOW
device. Variations to device appearance may be present in actual products.

2. Purpose

This guide details the steps required to attach one or two ID NOW
Universal Gateway (without the use of a network switch).
Following completion of the steps in this guide, the ID NOW
Gateway device(s) will be ready to transmit test results into RALS LiNK
