4.1 Operation

You can accelerate using the Air Aluminum or Air Carbon like a conventional scooter by pushing against the floor with your
foot. Alternatively, you can accelerate by pressing the small acceleration lever on the right side under the handle bar
(acceleration plate) with your right thumb. The harder you press down, the faster the scooter will go.
Acceleration lever
In order to use the acceleration lever to increase your speed, you'll first have to accelerate to walking pace by pushing off
the floor with your foot, and engaging the motor.
You can apply the brake by pressing the small lever on the left side under the handle (braking lever) with your left thumb.
Shift your body weight slightly to the back to counterbalance the braking effect of the engine brake and ensure safe and
controlled braking. Alternatively, you can also use your foot to press down the rear mudguard (foot brake). For the quickest
results, you can use both braking mechanisms at the same time (emergency braking) by pressing down both the braking
plate and the rear mudguard. Avoid using both the acceleration lever on the right side under the handle bar and the braking
lever on the left side under the handle bar at the same time.
