5 Remedying malfunctions
5.1 Malfunctions that are shown when using the optional EFOY
Bluetooth Adapter BT2 with the EFOY App
Messages appear in the EFOY App in the event of interruptions and malfunctions. There
you will find instructions on how you can remedy the malfunction.

5.2 Malfunctions not indicated by messages

Error
The EFOY lithium
battery has no
voltage
The battery cannot
be charged
The battery cannot
be discharged
Possible cause
The battery is in sleep mode
The battery is in deep
discharge protection mode
The battery is incorrectly
connected or defective
Excessive charging current
(see data sheet)
The battery is too warm
(> 45 °C)
For temperatures below 0 °C:
charging current too low or
heating element defective
The battery is already fully
charged (100% SOC)
Battery is defective
The battery is too warm
(> 60 °C)
Excessive discharge current
was identified. A circuit
breaker was triggered
Remedy
Put the battery in the
operating mode using the
activator or the charger
Charge the battery
Check the contacts, polarity
and cable
Reduce the charging current
Ensure a cooler ambient
temperature
If charging with an EFOY fuel
cell: contact the
EFOY hotline
Increase the charging
