The charging current must be accordingly reduced when charging outside of these temperatures.

The battery is only charged when the cell temperature (inside the battery) exceeds 0 °C. If a sufficient
charging current of at least 2 A is achieved, the standard heating element heats the battery so that it
can also be charged at outside temperatures below 0 °C to –20 °C.
