e • Locate the battery compartment
on the bottom of the toy.
• Loosen the screw in the battery
compartment door with a Phillips
screwdriver.
• Remove the battery compart-
ment door.
• Insert three "AAA" (LR03) alkaline
batteries, as indicated inside the
battery compartment.
Hint: We recommend using alkaline
batteries for longer battery life.
• Close the battery compartment
door and tighten the screw with
a Phillips screwdriver. Do not
over-tighten.
• When sounds or lights from this toy
become faint or stop, it's time for an
adult to change the batteries!

f • Trouver le compartiment des
piles sous le jouet.
• Dévisser les vis du couvercle du
compartiment des piles avec un
tournevis cruciforme.
• Retirer le couvercle.
• Insérer 3 piles alcalines AAA
(LR03) comme indiqué à l'intérieur
du compartiment.
Remarque : Il est recommandé
d'utiliser des piles alcalines, car
elles durent plus longtemps.
• Remettre le couvercle en place et
serrer les vis à l'aide d'un tournevis
cruciforme. Ne pas trop serrer.
• Lorsque les lumières ou les sons
du jouet s'affaiblissent ou cessent,
un adulte doit remplacer les piles.
e Battery Tips
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix different types of
batteries: alkaline, standard
(carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium).
• Remove the batteries during long
periods of non-use. Always remove
exhausted batteries from the toy.
Battery leakage and corrosion
can damage this toy. Dispose of
batteries safely.
• Never short circuit the
battery terminals.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are
not to be recharged.
• Only batteries of the same or
equivalent type as recommended
in the "Battery Replacement"
instructions are to be used.
