4. Remove the old belt. (You may also cut the old belt with
scissors to quickly remove it).
5. Slip the new cogged belt over the gear on the motor
shaft (as shown in Figure 9).
6. Now slip the belt onto the brush gear of the brush roller.
7. Slide the bearing housing in the corresponding slots on
the base. Make sure both are completely pushed into
place; the tab on the slanted bearing housing must fi t
into the slot at the bottom of the brush compartment.
8. Replace the Brush cover as described in item 6 under
Brush Roller Cleaning.

BEAM warrants to the original consumer purchaser that the cleaning set shall be free from
defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase until the original consumer
purchaser ceases to own the cleaning set. Motors and electrical components in BEAM Solaire
cleaning sets are warranted for 3 years. Hoses, tools and accessories carry a 3 year warranty.
Labor on all warranted items is covered for 1 year. This warranty does not apply to items
requiring normal replacement such as belts, bags, etc.
Should any defect in material or workmanship appear within the time of the above warranty, the
selling BEAM Dealer should be contacted. The Dealer shall repair, replace, or credit, (at BEAM'S
sole option), such part or parts in accordance with the applicable warranty period stated above.
BEAM shall not be responsible for such service unless provided by an authorized BEAM Dealer
utilizing authentic BEAM replacement parts.
This warranty does not apply to loss or damage resulting from (at BEAM's sole option) normal
wear and tear, commercial use, neglect, abuse, acts of God, accidents, improper installation,
improper modifi cation or alteration, improper use and operation or failure to provide proper
maintenance.
Some States or Provinces do not allow exclusion of warranties or limitations of damages, so the
above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specifi c legal
rights. You may have additional rights, which vary from State to State, or Province to Province.
This limited warranty applies to USA and Canada. For specifi c warranty information for your
Country, consult your authorized Beam Dealer.
Keep all payment records (bill of sale/delivery slip). The date on these records establishes the
warranty period. Should warranty service be required, you must show proof of purchase. If
proof of purchase cannot be supplied, the warranty period will be determined from the date of
manufacture of the product
