MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
CONNECTIONS and SET-UP
1. The source-input plug is located on the wire at the base of the
volume control knob. Push it into a female mini-jack on your PC,
DVD, or VCR line feed.
2. Do not adjust the volume on the computer, DVD, or VCR player
above 75 %, sometimes this equipment is distorted at high volume
levels.
3. If your source is a computer, VCR, or CD player and has a "BASS
BOOST", or special effects like Spatializer, SRS, or other controls
that say "JAZZ", "ROCK", "BLUES", etc., turn them off! The PAS
equipment does not need these artificial special effects which cause
distortion.
4. The "PAS" speakers require power from their "Power Adapter".
Plug the power adapter into a suitable source of either 110v power
(North American models) or 220v power (European Models), and
the opposite small end into the base of the volume control. (It will
only fit in one location.) Note: The silver input jack is only used with
the subwoofer option.
5. Mount "PAS" speakers. They can be mounted close to either side of
a projector or video monitor (PAS equipment is magnetically
shielded). See our web site for available brackets and mounting
ideas.
6. The PASII includes a subwoofer. Hook-up instructions can be found
in the Literature section of our web site under PASI Owner Manual.
