Vent the tank of a sewage station in accordance with local plumbing codes.
Fasteners
• Only use fasteners of the proper size and material.
• Replace all corroded fasteners.
• Make sure that all fasteners are properly tightened and that there are no missing
Torque values
All screws and nuts must be lubricated to achieve correct tightening torque. Screws that
are screwed into stainless steel must have the threads coated with suitable lubricants to
prevent seizing.

Hexagon screws with countersunk heads
For hexagon socket head screws with countersunk head, maximum torque for all property
classes must be 80% of the values for property class 8.8 above.
Check before start-up
Check that the pump installation is completed according to the applicable Installation,
Operation, and Maintenance manual.

Lifting equipment is required to handle the jet aerator. The lifting chain and the shackle
should be in stainless steel and inspected every year.
The minimum height between the lifting hook and the ground must be sufficient to be
able to lift the jet aerator out of the tank.
